Kann man eine Gänsebrust aus vereistem Gefrierschrank noch verwenden?

Ich hatte kurz vor Weihnachten gefrorene Gänsebrust gekauft, 2 Stck und beide erstmal in den bereits vereisten Gefrierschrank getan, da ich keinen richtig funktionierenden habe. An Weihnachten wurde ich dann allerdings kurzfristig eingeladen, sodass ich sie dann eben kurz nach Weihnachten raus holen wollte. Allerdings konnte ich bis jetzt dsnn doch keinen Gänsebraten mehr sehen. Jetzt würde ich Gänsebraten wieder essen, aber ich weiß jetzt nicht, ob nach ca 3 Wochen in einem vereisten Gefrierschrank die Gänsebrust genug gekühlt wurde (–18 Grad) also Minusgrade hat der Gefreirschrank, denn ohne Metallstange oder Ähnliches werde ich die Gänsebrust dort nicht frei graben können (liegt ziemlich weit hinten im Fach) aber woher weiß ich, wieviel Grad er tatsächlich hat und ab wieviel Minusgraden weniger kühlt es nicht mehr genug für 3 Wochen?

Doesn’t sound so long ago that I’d see the goose as lost.
Why don’t you drop the freezer until you can take the goose out and prepare it directly.
Yeah, you can eat that. The goose breasts remain frozen even if it was certainly a bit warmer than -18 degrees. And this is not a real problem for about three weeks. You will surely heat it again, where if you really burn it or you will kill any germs again.
The bigger problem is another: this is not so much the temperature, but frozen freezers need electricity without the end, as they work almost permanently under maximum load because of the ice.
You can still eat the goose breast. But you should froze the part quickly. Even your purse…

You can naturally enjoy the goose breast, because a vereister freezer does not affect the content but only the electricity.

You can still eat the roast! Just turn off the entire closet and is good. After that you wipe the cupboard dry and can continue to use it. All freeze can thaw – no problem.
