Kann man diese Reifen noch fahren?
Habe noch folgende Reifen und frage mich ob ich diese noch fahren kann:
- Frage 1: 4x Sommerreifen (2. Satz) haben noch 5mm – die 5 Felgen möchte ich eig. für den Winter fahren, wenn die Sommerreifen aber noch gehen, fahre ich sie nächstes Jahr im Sommer ab – sind 5mm ausreichend?
- 4x Winterreifen mit 2mm – gehen logischerweise nicht mehr, wenn die Sommerreifen noch gut sind, werde ich die Winterreifen auf die aktuellen Winterreifen tauschen u. dann nächstes Jahr die Sommer- u. Winterreifen tauschen
- Frage 2: Was kostet es wenn ich die Felgen der Sommer- und Winterreifen tauschen will? Habe nämlich aktuell zwei Sätze Sommerreifen und möchte ein paar im Winter benutzen, weil die Felgen schöner sind.

The summer tyres are naturally still OK if they are not too old.
5 years old, 7 years is clearly too much.
The profile is still sufficient for the summer tyres.
Here it comes to age. They shouldn’t be older than six years.
Of course, they should not have any damage.
The summer tyres are 2 years old and without damage.
I want to drive the rims of the summer tires in winter: Does it make more sense to raise the winter tires right on the summer rims and sell the 5mm summer tires? Or does it make sense to swap the winter tyres again and only take off the 5mm summer tyres next year and then swap the rims in winter?

…and if there are doubts as before with the tires, you should better replace them.
For moving the tyres, you can count for about €20-60 per piece…I will only do if it is actually worth it.
Hm, when is it worth it? Or would it make more sense to sell the used 5mm summer tyres (if you find it jmd).
…if the tires are already around the five years old, I might still drive them on the rim on which they are mounted but no longer move. However, since I just read that these summer tyres are 2 years old (and will also have only about 7-9 mm profile depth) you could certainly invest the money for moving.
I’ve never had tires taken care of age-related, I’ve always had wear since I drive >15,000km a year. Since even relatively wide tyres, most of the time hold 2-3 seasons.
