It’s a lot to get up because you have to reverse the engine block and reverse the translation. Would it be an idea to pull up a metal rod from the switch bed that you can switch with your left thumb while pulling the clutch with the rest of the hand.

Hello,

I have already made such rebuilds.

We usually use electronically controlled double stroke magnets

The link is then switched off by means of a rocker switch.

The double-stroke magnets we use now have only half the size.

Conversion to the right is more complicated because of the brake.

Yeah, that’s quite feasible. There are special workshops that specialize in such rebuildings.

A former working mate had also lost his leg, read his two-wheeler accordingly. He showed me back then.

The former working mate drove an older BMW before. On his own request he wanted to drive a motorcycle with sidecars because he felt safer with it. So we collected colleagues for him (about 6,000 DM). He gave his BMW in payment, took advantage of the money collected and put something on top of it (for a Moto Guzzi with sidecars and conversion). I don’t know what he paid.
