Can the frame of the VW T5 flatbed be extended?
The VW currently has a flatbed installed, which will be dismantled. A cab with an alcove will then be installed.
The question is whether the frame can be extended towards the rear and what needs to be done regarding the TÜV.

Loading...Good day The picture clearly shows the problem. In my case (and this isn't uncommon), the height adjustment is defective. At least, the seat can only be pumped up once, and then it stops. The adjustment element is probably stuck. My question is, has anyone here encountered this problem and repaired it? A replacement part…

You can extend the frame, but the welding work has to be carried out and confirmed by a specially designed welder.
