better would be: “The shop does not carry leather goods, but only offers bags of textiles or plastics.”

No, it would be either:

  1. The store has only fabric and plastic bags.
  2. The store has only fabric and plastic at the tachen.
  3. There’s only fabric and plastic in bags.

I’d rather say “The store has only fabric and plastic bags there”
