Yes, centuries ago, monks ate beavers during Lent. Because he’s got a tail fin, he’s been briefly explained to the fish and then eaten, drinking delicious bock beer.

What do beaver destroy on the water? Isn’t it the man who destroys everything?

And why are you throwing a rubber fish in the water? What is the deeper meaning! You should finally ban this hobby angling. Thousands of wild animals per year end cruelly to the fishing hooks and cords left in the water. Not to mention all the garbage that the anglers leave to the waters.

You’ve misunderstood a lot. The beavers renaturate river landscapes destroyed by man. Through their construction activities, they slow down the flow rate in the upper run and the catchment area of the rivers and thus reduce the risk of flood events. If we had to carry out all these renaturation measures ourselves, this would cost us many billions and the taxes and levies would have to be greatly increased. The beavers therefore meet us with their construction activities and perform this activity free of charge.

They also create new biotopes and thus promote biodiversity.

So whoever thinks that beavers would cause damage, he obviously didn’t get anything and out of it as far away from education.

How should there be too many fish in our waters? What species should be propagated explosively without an angler and who has regulated these populations before man enters the earth?

In Baden-Württemberg. There is no easier fishing testing than in Bavaria or other federal states

What overpopulation do you mean? The world is completely overpopulated with and without anglers.

Oh, and should I believe that? What are you doing when a hook stays hanging somewhere in the water and the fishing line tears off? Then you’re gonna go to the water and dip after the hook and the cord to catch it?

No, so far I’ve only seen people there who were guardians.

I am a biologist and has been active in nature conservation for over 40 years. It may be that fishing is lawful, but nevertheless it is long overdue to forbid this hobby.

fishing cord, fishing hook, blinker, coladosen, plastic bag etc.

It is difficult to imagine that other people who are not anglers leave such typical garbage on the waters.

And what’s so tragic when a tree is surrounded?

Wouldn’t pond economy be more effective? Firstly, this avoids unnecessary catching, does not harm the fish unnecessarily and does not leave thousands of fishing hooks and cords in nature with the catching of the throat.

What do anglers care about garbage? By leaving him to the waters?

I am the owner of meadows where rivers lead along and collect a lot of garbage every year left behind by hobbies. If I’d catch one of these baptisms, then grace him God!

With us at the close there are still 30 beavers missing and millions could have been saved for flood protection. (For the Auenwald there would have been a free bonus.)

Thank you for your comment!

They don’t destroy anything – on the contrary! The beacons keep the water back, prevent flooding and help the august forests on their feet!

Besides, I don’t want to eat beavers.

How can it be that you have so little knowledge of our ecosystems in general and of beavers in particular? Are you a major student or even a clipp student?

Luftkutscher

So, as a biologist, I don’t think I have any idea of beavers? How can you judge this as a layman?
