This depends on where and with what kind of bus you’re driving.

There are four different transport alliances in NRW with different tariffs and an almost unmistakable number of different bus companies, so a flat-rate answer is hardly possible.

No matter it is not, it should fit the planned trip.

Only card payment is possible for the bus driver in the VMS.

You want to drive from Oberhausen to Bochum. That’s VRR. It also stands at the bus stop and all buses.

You can easily tell the bus drivers start and finish and your ticket type and it gives you the right ticket.

Or look at the stoag side or VRR and buy the ticket online

that’s true. I think that the traffic network does not have to be searched for in the day, but belongs directly to the question / explanation

but we can buy all possible tickets from the bus driver. for tram drivers (more). many years ago this was still happening.
