As writes, there are HDD’s like SSD’s as external drives. They have the same properties as in the device:

  • HDD -> cheaper price, more susceptible to shocks
  • SSD -> faster, not susceptible to vibrations as not mechanically

The best way is to connect via USB-C, because then the drive can get off properly. Especially in HDD’s, USB-A is still widespread. Here, the whole of the external panel should be connected via USB-SuperSpeed. You know this Female.

Sure, there are external hard drives and that can of course also be SSDs. If it is a PCIe SSD, it should be connected via a TB3/ USB4, with conventional USB bandwidth and access time are significantly higher.

USB4….is only tired now in the introduction. Until this has been pushed into the market, that one can speak of comprehensively will pass a year. USB3, mainly via type C, is currently the “tip”. TB (at least alone) is also very rare for external panels. The manufacturers simply don’t think that anyone else could use things.

Can be.Not only that it is then also an external SSD that is connected with USB and not SATA.

eSATA hasn’t been there for a long time, hasn’t prevailed despite the good values at that time. And all that’s external to the area has a controller from xy to USB.
