Can a GbR pay a self-employed person for their work without receiving an invoice?
Hello,
A colleague and I would like to offer online services. These can then be purchased by the customer and then end up in the "Employee Area" of our website. There, verified freelancers can then select and process the purchased service.
My question is, does the self-employed person have to send us an invoice afterward? Or can we, as a GbR, send him an invoice stating that he completed service A for €X and will therefore receive €X from us?
You could pay “by credit.” So instead of the service provider ne billing you, you’ll write him a credit and pay for it.
Is in principle the same procedure – only that you just want the document. This is called credit method.
For example, the sugar factories with their farmers do that. The factory does not rely on the fact that the farmer can bill correctly. Or in scrap trading you like to do this
The tax office called, spoke to an expert and he says exactly the same with the credit. Super, thank you for the competent answer!
Sure.
You don’t owe B2B any payment as long as there is no invoice.
Yeah, I understand. My problem is if 200 self-employed people send me an invoice every week I have an incredible effort. Therefore, the question whether I can’t do this automatically. Quasi the self-employed person logs in, goes under “payments”, sees how much he worked for and as soon as he clicks on “pay” he gets his payout and from us a bill of everything he did.
