Can I increase the dedicated video RAM on my Acer Nitro5 AN517-52?
Hey, I'd like to play a game, but it's not running smoothly. A software check site says that it's recommended to have 6144mb of dedicated video RAM, but my laptop only has 4gb. It also says that the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 is recommended, but my laptop has the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti. Is there anything I can do about it?
Dedicated Video RAM can’t be increased, so you need to build a new laptop board or a graphics card.
In laptops, both are not possible in 99% of cases or would ultimately be the same as buying a new device.
Are they so expensive?
You can’t buy it as a final consumer. So the individual laptop components. That’s why you’d have to slaughter other devices.
With notebooks of usual wise NO, because the graphics card cannot be upgraded like a desktop PC.
