Depends on what ticket it is and when it is valid.

It’s on the ticket. SuperSparpreis tickets can not be cancelled, savings price tickets paid up to 24 hours before the start of the ride and tickets for the flex price up to 24 hours before departure free of charge, then paid for.

– Exchange or cancellation of Flexpreis tickets in the long term (ICE, IC/EC) for a fee of 19 Euro

– Exchange or cancellation of Flexpreis tickets in local transport (DB Regio, Allies, NE/SEE) for a fee 17.50 Euro

As soon as part of the journey takes place in the long-distance train, we charge a fee of 19 euros.
