AliEx has IOSS, so you pay German VAT already at the time of purchase and there is nothing else to do, even no 6,-. The show is simply delivered if anything else is legal.

The total amount (good +delivery) is always calculated.

From 5€, EUST (usually 19%) will be due, from 150€ additional inch (depending on the product group)

There are in the net computer for import duties.

https://www.paketda.de/ausland/zollrechner.php

If the sender has correctly issued the customs declaration, it may be that the delivery service will bring it and the import duties will be cashed (+6€ deposit fee of the mail).

If the consignor, such as Ali, participates in the IOSS, he gets the tax (not the customs!) when buying and you don’t have to repay taxes.

But:

If the customs has any doubt or the form does not appear credible or the content should be checked, you must be notified to the customs office, open the package and prove what it is and how much it is worth.

If the customs releases it then you will pay there the EUST + possibly customs.

You can (don’t have to!) also transfer DHL on site, but they require €28.50.

If the customs wants to check a shipment (and this is their job!), then they do whatever it is.

The check should also clarify whether the information would otherwise be correct, each “gift $5” would write on his kilo coke.

In short, just leave the fingers of these 0815 China pages like AliExpress, Temu, Wish and how the whole garbage is called.
