You can. But what were the problems? An exchange will only bring something if it is really defective. However, if you want to exchange, your Girocard/Maestro is most likely replaced by a Girocard/Debit Mastercard or Visa. She already has her advantages.

What’s wrong? The Girocard-Debit Mastercard/Visa cards, which most savings banks are currently spending as the successor of the Maestro? But there are still 😂

What do you mean, isn’t it? Does the contactless function no longer work? Can you stick and pay?

I didn’t say that either.

At Deutsche Bank, Norisbank, Postbank and Commerzbank, Girocard will continue to be issued with Maestro.

Maestro is no longer available with new current cards.

No, you can’t get a Maestro card anymore.
You will then get a Mastercard debit card, including new PIN.

Or a Debit Visa. Or a Vpay. Depending on what his savings bank has in the program.

no, even PIN does not remain the same and money does not disappear as long as you own the card yourself.

No. The Maestro System is abolished in Germany. For the savings banks there is “Vpay”.
