Well, at security you should take it off and put it in the basket, otherwise the check will take a relatively long time.

The rest may not matter to you (what others think or the like)

Your question is a bit older, but maybe my answer will help.
I flew from Vienna to Frankfurt in the summer and I wore a collar of leather and metal (on the front is a D-ring for the leash).

It’s okay until I got to body control. The Metal Detector hit me and I had to put the collar in front of all the people standing in front of me and in front of the officials next to me. But it was a nice feeling that everyone could see that I was wearing a collar. After the control, I’ve put it back, as it is. The looks were even better than the ones.

People don’t know me, I’m anonymous and it was a good opportunity to experience something new. On the return flight more or less the same, even there the detector has hit. You have to expect such chokers and collars. Or you decide to put it before or wear it without metal.

Why should you not be allowed to wear this necklace, it will only have to take control.

It may be that the part has to go down at the metal detector, and the grin of the security checkers will accompany you.

I think you’d have to take it in security control.
