Can I do it like this?

I smelled ammonia twice today, but I actually inhaled it through my nose and mouth, and then held my breath because I kept getting dissociated. Now I have a severe cough, headache, dizziness, and nausea/farting. Is this a sign of an intoxation, or is that not possible with ammonia? After all, it's actually a toxin.
