Can faking joy relieve stress?

First of all, I'd like to apologize for my spelling. Due to my dyslexia, mistakes can creep in here from time to time.

Okay, now let’s get to my question.
I was interested in whether faking joy could mean relieving stress.
This question has been circulating in my head for quite some time, but I've never dared to ask it until now, as I was afraid people would misinterpret my intention and respond with a friendly "faking emotions is never good" or "that just makes you sadder." 😅 At the end of my question, I just want to emphasize that I'm asking this out of pure curiosity and not because I want to implement it myself! So, can you fake happiness when you're stressed and thus trick your brain? 🤔

I definitely know that when you laugh, no matter how, so with and without reason, lucky hormones are spilled out. That is why there are also lachyoga/therapy.
