Hello,

leaving a runaway cat just outside without a spatial reference comes equal to a standout and that is punishable in Germany.

In addition, the cat must be castrated and labeled with a chip, so that it must be assigned a holder certificate and thus.

Accordingly, I ask you either to report the cat as escaped and to capture it with the help of animal welfare, or to capture, characterize it and to bind it to your apartment/home. She can still have her release. It is necessary to ensure that the cat is regularly fed, provided with veterinary medicine and has a roof over the head in winter.

Temperatures below 5 degrees can already be too cold for housing cats.
A healthy and free-going cat with dense winter fur can also withstand temperatures up to -20 degrees.

Please find a solution for your cat.

Your cat all thoughtful good.

Best regards 🙋 ♀️ +😺 +😺

Strange animal welfare you have. Because we are all striving for these clusters to get away from the road. As I said: Strange animal welfare you have.

Maybe you can put a bowl of water near the house. With luck, she’s regularly coming. At least you know she’s okay with that. She also wants to return to the apartment voluntarily in winter. She needs food and a dry sleeping place to survive. The cold in winter will be less the problem.

Cats know exactly where they can slip in everywhere when they are too wet or cold, and even when they are being fed, they are intriguing, each free-goer probably knows a whole latte of friendly neighbors who always put something to him. The greatest danger for free-goers is road traffic, followed by diseases, poisons (shadow baits) and in some places predators such as Fox, Marder, Habicht.

Cats are extremely tough when they are out the summer, their body will most likely be able to adjust to winter.

It depends on the cat. Some make it, some not

The cat of an acquaintance also escaped and is unfortunately frozen

But you have some time until winter, so you can try to catch them again 😃

Never heard a cat freeze. We do not live in Siberia, and so a cat fur can do what if the animal is not thrown into a vereist lake or it is a sensitive nude cat. Probably what died or was severely weakened, so that she no longer found shelter.
