Can the food now go moldy?

Hey guys, I've ordered from Körnerbude again and the order just arrived.

I've already started unpacking and noticed that the food bags are slightly damp on the outside.

I don't know how it got wet in the box, but I'm now worried that the food got wet too.

The food bags are lined with plastic on the inside. I also tried an empty bag to see if water could get in from the outside. The result was that everything was still dry on the inside, but I'm still worried that the food is wet on the inside.

So the bags weren't full of water, there were just a few spots that were wet.

1. Question how does water get into the box

2. Question: Should I write Körnerbude an email and request a replacement order or report the incident?

And 3. Question: Should I still check whether the bags are damp on the inside?

LG.

As long as the moisture does not penetrate into the bag, I do not see any problems.

You should claim this delivery and buy fresh, clean and dry food elsewhere.

Because moisture or even open wet has nothing to look for in food.

Since you as a layman can neither judge nor determine the residual moisture of the feed, you should be safe on number.

Do not feed this feed!!

For Moisture + heat = mold, even if you can’t see this with mere eyes.

And against mold fungi or their spores, wave parakeets are extremely sensitive and hardly to be saved in a disease.

I wish you a happy hand for your waves.

Best regards
