Separate rabbits again?
The introduction went well, but I have a nasty suspicion that the new bunny is food-aggressive. If I have to separate the two and give the bunny away, how long could I keep my rabbit alone once I've found a new bunny?
Thank you very much!
Hello π€ππ½
I don’t think you need a new zip. You can also fix food envy differently.
I’ve had rabbits for seven years, and I’ve often had a problem with food. It is important that the enclosure is large enough (at least 6m2). You just have to spread a lot of food everywhere. The haeze cannot eat in several places simultaneously. Check the weight of the other rabbit.
I wouldn’t keep the rabbit alone for more than two weeks. But honestly, I wouldn’t separate the two. A new partner always means a lot of stress for your rabbit.
Dear Greetings I hope I could help you
My rabbits have no cradle. They are walkers in my room they have 12m2 and a bit crushed. He’s a little ram she’s a blue Viennese. I’m not sure what to feed her. Up to now, for example, both do not eat any grains of it, salads like hearts or raddiccio or spinach simply lie what it is herbs e.g. dill, parsley or coriander. She eats everything except for the grains. Do you have any further tips?
So far, the two have two seats. I’m just putting more pots on it. I was very happy about the proposal. Thank you!
Hello
Dry feed both as well as grains are superfluous and unhealthy.
Spread cabbage, salad, beet, herbs, some vegetables and a little bit of fruit.
Patience who’s got enough food all over and no rabbit is getting off.
Love
I have to say I’m not convinced. With dry food in the sense of dried herbs and as treats, here qualitative pellets with a lot of fiber (I also sometimes myself) I have had very good experiences. And carrot I only rarely give because so much sugar is inside. There’s bananas.
I don’t give cabbage anymore, I just make complaints.
The only vegetable that is eaten is Gurke, Broccoli.
Fruit: π stop, apple and in summer berries and melon sometimes.
I’ll give you a few days. I try them because I always read and hear that they are “heavy food” and so they are a big breed.
The two aren’t my first rabbits, I just never had two of them, and I don’t know them so well. That’s why I’m worried.
