Rabbit scratches in the same spot for ages?

My rabbit always scratches in the same spot for ages. If I didn't stop her, she would do it for hours.

Most of the time she does this in a particular house no matter where it is

I always lock it so that she finally stops

I'm always worried because she's already slim and has breathing problems and has to take medication every day. She then has to pant like any other rabbit but it always takes ages for her to calm down and she doesn't seem to care. She always jumps out, lies down for 10 seconds and then carries on straight away.

This could be due to the postures.

Maybe it’s too warm. Then, rabbits try to stick a cow to the ground to have a cooler berth. That would be an alarm signal that the rabbit suffers greatly from the heat and there is danger of a bite.

Perhaps your rabbit has too little space, too little employment, no fellows? Then the fool is a desperate attempt to escape through an escape tunnel.
