Rabbit has something pink on its eye?

We went to the vet yesterday because my rabbit was holding his head crooked. His ears were cleaned and his teeth checked. They were fine because we had to pull a tooth 1-2 months ago. Unfortunately this was the second time, as I said, she didn't see anything. He has an ear infection and I have to give him ear drops until Monday. Today I noticed that there is something pink at the front of his eye, it looks like skin. I googled it, of course, and found a similar picture and it said bulging eye. His eye looks normal apart from the pink "thing". I then went to the vet with my cat and explained it to him, and we have an appointment on Monday. Now my question: has any of your rabbits had this? I'm always so worried, even though they're checked on Mondays anyway. I can't say whether he ate today, I'm at work all day. But I'll feed him a bit with the syringe later and keep an eye on him tomorrow.
Maybe someone had something similar and can help me a bit and take away my worries
