Female canaries fat and wide-legged on the ground?

Hello

My female canary has been sleeping almost exclusively since yesterday. Since today, she's been sleeping on the floor and is very fat. She's also sitting with her legs wide apart.

I once heard that it could be that she has hatching eggs inside her that aren't coming out.

Could this be possible? If so, what should I do?

if it isn't that, what could it be

You described Legenot yourself. Go with her to the vet

I hope you’re already with the vet. I also tap Legenot, which can end up in a good and fatal way for the hen if it is not recognized and treated in time.

And I’m afraid I’m gonna have to mock a bit: You don’t seem to have been really well informed about the animals you’re holding. Birds do not have several eggs simultaneously in the abdomen, but an egg is formed and laid every day. I do not expect any animal owner to have completed a study of veterinary medicine, but if you were just a bit involved in the topic – there are plenty of books about it, and the internet is also a lot – you would have heard from Legenot.

You have also written in previous articles by Zebrafinken, Schwarzfinken, Rußfinken and Agarponiden.

How many birds do you have, with 16?

I’m just looking at the worst pictures of Animal Hoarding and hoping that I’m not right…
