Rent a camera with a lens without distortion online?

Hello, I need to take some photos and need a camera without distortion. First, I wanted to know how I can tell if this is the case and what kind of camera I need. I'd like to borrow a camera. Is there any way to do this online?

Couldn’t give an optics that’s not distorted. In the film sector of Arri, for example, this should be very good. Otherwise, image processing software knows almost all existing lenses and you can “deter” them, e.g. Lightroom. The best way to photograph RAW is to do so.

probably you are on a completely “wrong rail”. all optics, which do not correspond to the focal length of our eyes, “distorte” the shown perspective, in particular in the region of the shorter focal lengths (wide angle).

it also depends on what you want to photograph where. Sometimes it is enough to take another, not so dense, standpoint in order to reduce “distorted” or not to be created at all.

If you want to photograph for other people, and who expect a good result from you, you should focus on photography. In order to drive a car or to learn a language it is not enough to ask a few about it in a forum.

“to a surgeon”; I interpret this as so-called macro-records from low distance. For this you best need an objective with low focal length, which also has this “macro.function”.
or you use a macro lens that significantly reduces the close distance to the motiv.
another alternative are intermediate rings used between camera and obective; mostly but with loss of blind control and autofocus. you have to control everything manually.

Then you should use NO wide angle (also NO Fish Eye).
A typical portrait lens would be good. You need someone to photograph you. Better go to a photographer and explain your desire – especially for what the photos are with the specifications

Hello

  • most genuine macro optics are without distortion due to reproability
  • there are distortion-free special optics for geodetic applications (photometry) for the last 100 years, which are sometimes referred to as industrial optics (nikon) which have been designed for stereometry and therefore have couplings for it. The geodesy manufacturers ( surveying technology) were Nikon, Pentax, Leica, Zeiss Optron, Zeiss Jena, Rollei-Metric, Minolta, Topgon, Olympus, Konica, Kern, Angeniaux, Dallmeyer, Ross, Cock,,,
  • all Canon EOS T/S are plan all Zeiss Rotators and brands Tilt/Shit over the last 50 years

You get the most distortions with zoom lenses. In general, you have little distortion in fixed focal lengths, moreover some cameras also correct distortions in the camera.

But wherever you want to send these pictures, this requirement is probably somewhat unhappy, and should only say that you should not send photos that have been taken with wide-angle lenses and where you are too close to the camera.

In principle, in good lighting conditions with a correct camera, you do not have a great different result to a mobile camera if you compare the same focal lengths to each other. If you want an optimal result, I would not borrow a camera but rather a photographer, because it also ensures that you are optimally illuminated.

The camera must not be too close to the face, but must have enough distance.

A portrait lens, i.e. a weak telephoto lens, is therefore used in portrait photography. Its focal length is about two times as long as that of the normal lens. The image angle is then about 25°.

(In the case of an analog small picture camera or a digital camera with full format, an objective has a focal length of about 100 mm. For a digital camera with APS-C, about 60 mm focal length is correct.)

Secondly, it is important that the lighting is soft and does not cast deep dark shadows. Suitable is the light outside, but not at sunshine, but covered sky. Photographers have special lamps in the studio.

There are many distortions.

Chromatic aberration, kiss- and ton-shaped distortion, spherical aberration, falling lines. High-quality lenses are always well corrected. Since you do not specifically call the problems, a professional answer is impossible.

Depends on what you mean. If you want to avoid overthrowing lines in buildings, a tilt shift lens would be sufficient. If you want to completely turn off the perspective distortion, you will have to look for a telecentric lens: https://www.dioptic.de/dioptic-objectives/bi-telecentric-objectives/

Long focal length combined with a large distance from the motif, see: comment image

I suppose it’s cosmetic surgery. Please go to a photographer or please a friend with a DSLR or DSLM camera with a Maximum combustion distance of about 85 – 105 mm related to KB (no zoom!) to make a few recordings.

Such a possibility does not exist.

What you can do is go to a DM market and have you photographed there. I know from experience that they do. For example, for passport photos!
