Hey, I just found this cable tie on the chain while unlocking my scooter. I'm pretty sure it wasn't there yesterday. Should I go straight to the police? I suspect my scooter might get stolen again soon (it's happened to me twice already).

Why do you think that the cable tie is a sign that the scooter is stolen? If, he’d probably already be gone and not equipped with a cordless cable tie.
Just put yourself in the position of the police when someone shows up there and that’s a cable tie at a lock. They’re just gonna sneak a little or send you annoyed.
