K&N sports air filter?

Good day,

I would be interested to know whether the K&N sports air filter 57i (BMW 318i E90) has an ABE and if it doesn't and I install it anyway, what consequences could arise?

According to the usual online shops, no ABE and no parts for your vehicle. So it's necessary to make a single withdrawal at the TÜV.

If you were driving without registration, this would be a cancellation of the permit with an impairment of the environment. At least 90€ fine, sublimation. You need to fix the defect and show the vehicle again, etc. in order to regain your approval authority.

So it's not worth it. You better find another with ABE or just let it be the same in the car. Only an open air filter does not bring much.

Switching air filters that fit into the original air filter box can easily be installed that doesn't care. Open intake is prohibited and is not eligible for entry in Germany.
