Job search, I don't understand something?

People are being sought for jobs everywhere – when I look for alternatives and ask in shops they say we don't need anyone – I get messages on the job board where the requirements are always higher than what I have trained for – one employee has now changed my profile on the board and I'm slowly getting better requests for suitable positions – could it be because I'm 51? Or rather, I've been out of commercial work since 2009, I've done security work up until now but I can't think for it right now – why is it so hard to find something?

That can have many reasons.

It may be due to the lack of your qualification for the job offered. It can also be at your age for some jobs, of course also in the region where you live.

Don’t give up, at some point you’ll find the job that suits you.

Maybe you’re doing an insurance business. You can make the training an insurance specialist there and work at the same time.

Even with 51, life is not over.

Did you have your application documents checked? The feedback might be helpful.

I’d let a coach check it out. It can also be one from the employment office. It’s more about what you’re doing there and how, especially in gaps or unusual sections. Also, as you explain it during a conversation can be important.

The job office and job center have no idea about good applications
