Job interview, how does it go?

Yes, hello, I'm too nervous and can't sleep, which is why I'm writing this at this hour. I wanted to know what I should wear to the interview and how it all works. I asked my boyfriend, and he said they asked him what he does in his free time and what he imagines it's like (a bit more, of course, but that was the main part). Does anyone know roughly what they'll ask, and do you know how I can convince my boss or branch manager to hire me?

I'm 16, if that helps. I'm doing a year-long internship. I'm in 10th grade now, and the internship is expected to be in 11th grade.

You should look clean and well maintained. Pants or skirt, shirt or blouse, shirt and suit is not so decided. Bish chic but not overpowered.

For example, it could be asked why you want to do your internship in this branch.

What you expect or hope for from this internship could also be asked.

Since you have no professional experience, it would be possible to ask for school. Generally how it runs, which subjects you like and which less.

Or as with your friend for hobbies etc.

It’s absolutely fine that you’re nervous and excited. It’s not bad if they remember that.

So an interview for a student internship?

I’d say if you’ve been invited to the conversation, they’re definitely ready to take you, if you’re reasonably decent.

Just put on what you would wear during work there, but a little more chic. But don’t worry too much, they know you can’t come with suit as a student.

In the beginning you will be greeted and then you will be asked a few questions: Why did you apply exactly there? What cares about work? If you have a problem at work, what would you do? How do you imagine the tasks of the position? What is the company for?

In yourself, you can’t answer wrong if you’re a little informed and have some interest in the job.

you should prepare for exactly two questions!

  • Why do you want to do this job?
  • Why with us?

for both questions, especially not the first one, there is no patent answer. But it must be honest.

Let’s say the job center gave you a job. Then you could come up with the idea of lying to the employer because you’re afraid that the employer doesn’t want you to be sent from there.

But they overlook the fact that the employer is informed by the job center that you will come.

You can say, “The job center has suggested the job!”

that’s nothing negative. But if you say something like “The doofe job center wants me to apply here, or they’ll delete my performance” I think it should be clear what this is going on.
