One can sew such a crack by hand with needle and thread. To this end, one takes a thread that has the color of the jacket as much as possible.

The sufficiently long sewing thread threads are threaded into the mouth of the needle at one end, and a double or triple node is made at the other end. At one end of the crack, stitching is started and the crack is stitched as uniformly as possible.

At the end, the remainder of the thread is sewn several times in opposite directions so that the seam does not dissolve.

The thread is then removed from the needle tube and the protruding thread residue is cut off.

Of course you can sew it. You don’t need to throw away anything that sometimes has little crack 🙄

Bring the jacket to a cutting shop. It can be sewn without problems.
