Ixil Hyperlow Z650 2020?

Good morning,

I own a 2020 Z650 and would like to install an Ixil Hyperlow complete system.
Dealers only list the system up to model year 2019, as the Z650 was prepared for Euro 5 in 2020. However, the 2020 version is still Euro 4. On the website, Ixil lists 2017 up to Euro 4.

I'm a little unsure about this. Does anyone know anything more specific, or perhaps even have the same combination of motorcycle and complete system?

Thank you very much for your answers!

Finn

The Z650 was revised in 2020 and for this reason it is even possible that, as with the Z900, the accessories of the predecessor no longer fit.

Also homologation does not apply to the 20/21s.

I would recommend that you contact Ixil directly and ask for it.

The Akrapovic plant seems to fit for the years 2017-2020, the ER6H and the ER6K. If this is the case with the Akra, the IXIL would most likely have to fit for both, I think. Then it is really “just” about the question : is ER6 in homologationK or not?

The model of the Z650 2017-2019 is the ER6H, the 2020er is the ER6K.
Whether the exhaust system fits is a question that homologation is another. You could (e.g. here at GF) ask if someone has this homologation and might send you a copy or at least check if the ER6K it is noted. Please put the highest value on the letter at the end – because it depends on !
Otherwise, you could, of course, contact IXIL directly to see if the ER6 plantK fits and this model is also specified in homologation – it would be ideal to send you a PDF copy so you can be sure.

By the way, the 2021 is still the ER6K. That’s just on the edge.

You may not use it on the 20s due to lack of homologation/approval.

In the meantime, the checks have been carefully looked at and the number is not always sufficient. Such a plant would already be matched to the machine, which would not be the case with your combination.

Yeah, I’d be curious. 😊

The matte black SC Project looks pretty great. I haven’t seen anything on the street.

Cobra is such a modular principle. If you put something together, what you like, it will be more expensive than Akra. Arrow becomes extremely loud with time – too loud for TÜV and police. Who buys cheap, buys 2 times and then it becomes even more expensive… this rule applies here as well as other things.

Well, in homologation, only the ER6 clearly standsH and not the ER6K – so the plant would not be legal even if it were to fit. With this system, unfortunately, it also took place. Don’t take it too hard – I think it sounds kind of cheap / laundering and the processing is not so the nicker. You’ll find something better. I can only put the Akra to your heart – it has already recommended and offered its reasons why the only one of Kawasaki – and certainly has no effect on the guarantee. Nevertheless, thanks for the homologation – was interesting to see this one.
