IU – Career opportunities?

Let's be honest

In myStudium at IU (the full-time model with 2-3 face-to-face courses per week – either on-site or online), you spend much less time at the university than at state universities.

This makes me a bit suspicious. I'm concerned about whether future employers will even recognize the degree (BA in Social Work) if it's from IU…

Please give honest answers

My son was in contact with IU for several weeks. Their interactions are ridiculous; I advise against it. Look at all the latest Google reviews… it's fine. Lots of talk, nothing behind it. No wonder they're constantly paying for expensive search ads everywhere because they're looking for both students and lecturers… and if you ask them eight times about practical partners for the dual study program (from their supposedly huge network), they don't give you any partners, just the valuable tip to search for them yourself on monster.de. No, of course. And if you ask three times, you get a boilerplate text and then nothing more… 3-6 months later they ask again via a boilerplate text whether you're still interested… No way. My son got good A-levels, by the way. IU doesn't have a good reputation, you can forget about it.
