Itching from bandages and plasters?

Hello, whenever I have a bandage or plaster on my skin, I get severe itching and feel like scratching constantly. It's worst on my arms. I know that wounds tend to itch while they're healing, but I've already ruled that out. What could be causing it, and what can I use as a substitute?

Best regards and thank you 🙃

Allergy against ingredients of the plaster or glue – I had this on my back, the real wound was great, all around all fire red and itchy like stupid.

You suffer from a patch allergy and can solve the problem by hypoallergenic plasters.

Good for you.

In a contact allergy, the body reacts oversensitively to a specific substance. Skin reactions such as rash, swelling and itching are typical. Most importantly,to avoid contact with the trigger. A contact allergy is usually treated with cortisone-containing creams, ointments or solutions.

Some people are allergic to conventional plasters. But there are those in the pharmacy that do not cause itching.
