Is a school trip to London good?

Hello everyone. Our teachers told us today that our advanced course trip will be either to Hastings or London. Both in the UK. Has anyone been there as a student before and can tell us what it's like there? Especially the accommodation? I'd like to know about Hastings, is it a nice place or just another run-down English town? And is Hastings close to beautiful nature or not? If someone could answer this for me, that would be very helpful. I'm also interested in general opinions. Thanks.

I used to be there and even got my 18. Celebrate birthday in this city. Unfortunately it was not possible to admire the Crown Jewels in the Tower at that time. But at that time we saw quite everything that a “classical” London tour had to see, such as Madame Tusseaud’s, the Tate Gallery, the British Museum – and a few more…

I can only recommend!

We were with the school in London at the time and I found it totally nice there. We were taught at host families, which was also interesting.
