Without having done a quick test and from a distance it is not possible to determine whether the ZKD is defective.
Only the fact that the coolant level is now at min. does not mean much at the current temperatures – liquids expand when heated, but also change their volume when it is cold – you should observe this now.
This yellow slime on the lid of the oil filling plug is an emulsion of oil and condensation water.
It likes to be created on the lid of the oil filling plug, because this is the coldest point on the whole engine.
If you drive a lot of short distance, it is quite a lot in the season and temperatures and if you drive long distances and the motor gets really hot, little to nothing.
You should observe the cooling liquid level, but of course you should not compare the stand with the one after a frosty night when the engine is warm.
when was the last oil change
uses the engine water
you only drive short distances
so I wouldn’t lock out a cylinder head gasket damage
The last was March 2024, I make the annual
It has now run some water so I have to refill it now for everyone, as it is at a minimum
I am driving long distance by car
Ok likely the head seal has a problem
Are you driving a lot of short distance?
Coolant in the oil would be indicated by a decreasing coolant level.
No actually as good as not at all, there are 35 km to work
The coolant becomes less.
Then there are only two causes.
Either a defective cylinder head seal or a crack in the cylinder head.
For the exact troubleshoot, the cylinder head has to be down.
Beautiful emulsion…. there is water in the oil but where it comes you can only guess…can also be crack in the block itself… 🙂
When do you have to do something?
From now on… you’re just experiencing how your motor dies… 🙂
This looks at least like a water-oil mixture.
