If the excess weight consists of muscle, there is no reason to worry.

Otherwise, your doctor will advise you as you suggest. But here’s the short form.

  • Movement
  • Balanced diet
  • After 1800 no chips or other typical fat makers
  • Gently dispense with soft drinks.

I largely agree with your answer, but I would like to point out that this “after 6:00” thing has been forever refuted. It doesn’t matter when you eat. Calories remain calories and even if you sleep, the calorific value remains the same.

No, because the body puts the energy in the reserve. The only exception is quickly available nutrients such as single sugar, but it will not be stored during the day only if you need it directly (e.g. sports). The thermodynamics does not matter how much time you take up the nutrients – does not change the energy content.
