It’s definitely Greece. A country where, like any other, there are quite local differences.

Corfu is Greek territory.
The distance to the main island does not matter.

Rhodes is closer to Turkey, including Greece.

Corsica is closer to Italy and is still part of France.

Was already in zig different places of Greece in the east, west, north and south. Corfu was typical Greek for me.
