You can take advantage of any vendor that is cheaper and processes the same segment – from Ford and Opel to Peugeot and Renault to Mazda and the VW group Skoda and Seat.

Hyundai has also become quite expensive over the years and is no longer cheap – much it does not give itself to a VW in comparison anymore, since the brand has defined itself as a premium provider, the main advantage is the long guarantee, where there are also foot fishing here. The optics is a matter of taste, the new models of Hyundai have become aggressive and the VWs have never really liked me.

Germany is a lot too heavy on VW as Hyundai would be completely accepted. I know people who still think Koreans are poor-people cars like a Dacia; they can still be said so much that a typical Kia or Hyundai has become quite expensive – and in addition, the Koreans are also too expensive to buy earlier because money could be saved. Those who used to go Korean often go to Opel or Skoda or to Renault or to a Japanese… many think in the end “is NOT a Korean who is not worth the money, because I also get something else for better image”.

I also thought I’d get a Hyundai i20N. In the Ggs. to VW and Audi you just get more for the money. With 54 hp, Audi A1 costs less and less equipment than the i20N. For this the i20N eats more and there was it in exactly one color, and this is 🤮. With comparisons it was not a Hyundai, but only because the combination of design, performance and purpose did not fit into my personal prey scheme. I don’t want to excuse a Hyundai, there’s no reason for it.

We had two Hyundai in the company. Both very workshop shy. The i30 was unfortunately killed, the i40 is still alive. After a little over 260,000 km, a Wheel bearing broken. Meanwhile, the climate is zigging. Invested only in inspection and wear parts.

At the second Ibiza, after 5 years, I should invest just under 3000€ for several wheel bearings and steering, among others, and then rather have pushed it off. At less than 60,000km, it must not be at VW, and I’m sure I didn’t beat it. The touran of an acquaintance in turn is virtually uncaputable. It’s 2010.

What am I supposed to say now? If the configurator showed only white and no choice was possible….Do I want to remember colors??? I’m not pulling this out of my fingers.

But that’s just your opinion, there are millions of other views, otherwise in Wolfburg Halden would stand untrusted cars. I’ve been driving VW cars in the last 20 years, my current VW Touran was 5 years old in May, and it has not had any problems for the customer service that would be recognized as a guarantee case with Hyundai.

As cheap as the brand once was Hyundai is no longer

For one, VW is still a “real” Volkswagen, for the others it is Ford, Opel, Fiat, Citroën, Renault etc.

I would still rather buy something from the “Wolfsburger scrap group” 🙂

Volkswagen is out. Whoever buys this brand has unfortunately not understood yet.
