Is it bad to exert yourself after surgery?

I had wrist surgery, and a week ago, the cast was removed. After about five days, I started stretching and lightly weight-bearing because the doctor told me I could slowly start putting weight on my hand again after a week. Was it a mistake to start two days early? Could that make it worse?

Stretching is always good, but be careful! If you have no pain or problems, it was okay. If there are some problems, feel bad, then get to the doctor right away. Stretching always perform with feeling and in principle soft, flowing execution. Mobility is not achieved with violence or stubbornness, but through continuity and feeling. There are good videos with stretching for all areas at Youtube. Look in. And don’t forget, a body must heal properly in case of injuries at any place, never before make any force experiments. Take your time!

Overloading could cause damage if it happens you know what I mean right away. And it doesn’t have to be worse. An operation is also a violent intervention in the body of injuries that must heal. Stretching was fine, I think, but again, let your time! Make an exercise more soft and flowing than once too hard! Believe me, stretching and body school is my personal area.

You can’t predict that. It’s gonna throw the cure back. And that’s always bad.

All right. This depends on the intensity of the damage. I’m not telling you for a reason. Don’t do anything that’s not cure anymore! It’s just a advice from one who has hurt himself.

And the scars, yes, that are now incisions in your body, that can still hurt some time. And later you feel them in the weather, maybe, don’t have to be. The operations nowadays are carried out and sewn, often there are no – clear – scars back as before. The scars often had something of representations in pirate films. That’s fortunately history.
