Ist es ein Problem wenn meine Wellensittiche ein Hansi bub und halb Standard brüten?

Also geht das weil meiner Standard Wellensittich ist irgendwie größer

Without the necessary extensive knowledge of the subject, one should generally dispense with the breeding in the case of corrugations in order to prevent the hen and chicks from being damaged.

First of all:

So-called “half standards” are not available in official language use.

This is an invention of non-uniform users in any general wave-sittich forums.

There are only standard wave scales according to the two existing breeding standards, i.e.

Everything else is Hansi-Bubi-Wellensittiche.

Possibly as the smallest variant, then the wild waves, i.e. the bush-budgies.

If their two Hansi-Bubi-Wellensittiche succeed in pairing, in principle nothing speaks against a breeding.

However, you should not start breeding at this time of year as the big mouse begins.

In addition, each breeding should always be well prepared and this begins long before the nesting of the nests.

In any case, a prerequisite is that you have the necessary resources and expertise for a shaft breeding.

I wish you a happy hand for your waves.

Best regards
