Is it fraud to lend my girlfriend my Germany ticket?
I (under 16) would like to travel soon with a friend (under 16) and my boyfriend (16). My friend and I both have a Deutschlandticket, but my boyfriend doesn't. My question:
1. Are people who are 16 and have a Deutschlandticket allowed to take people under 16 and without a Deutschlandticket with them?
2. Is it fraudulent to give the ticket to my friend? And is the ticket personal?
Yes, this is not legal and falls under the same penalty as driving without a ticket. The Deutschland Ticket is registered only on one person and can therefore not be awarded to other persons.
1.
Okay, thanks.
No, you can give the ticket as you want.
Fraud is only when it does not have a valid ticket and then shows the Germany ticket from someone else. It would even be wiser to say you don’t have a ticket.
You can take one or more children under 6 years of age for free. Otherwise, no free take is possible.
The German ticket is not transferable and can therefore only be used by the owner or the owner. The identity card or passport shall be checked, from 16 years of age, or other suitable documents. Name and personal data can be read in the control of the German ticket.
If you ignore your Deutschland ticket someone else in the intent that she/he uses it illegally, this could be interpreted as an incitement to fraud. The person concerned then commits a fraud and makes it possible to obtain transport services. Whether the transport company pursues the criminal offences or only charges EUR 60 increased transport charges may be handled differently.
This ticket is personal.
