That depends on where you’re going.

There are safe areas and not so safe. In the United States, for example, firearms are, of course, another thing other than Germany, but there are many areas where the likelihood that what happens is not higher than in many other countries.

You never have 100% security, but you don’t have it in Germany.

Where in the USA? You can’t say that.
we have made two roadtrips in the USA (both times east coast / New England) including ride through New York City.
That was not more dangerous than in Germany.
Somewhere through the desert it may look different
