Ist ein Opel Astra H 1,9 CDTi DPF ein zuverlässiges Auto?

Hallo zusammen,

The Opel Astra-H introduced in 2004 is actually a good car and can still be recommended. Know some who drove him or still drive, one still drives the Astra he bought in 2007 – all were/are satisfied. If the car is well-maintained and not already had six previous owners, this can be a solid owner despite the high age. Nominal quality problems are so seen, Opel has built very good cars in the 2000s.

The 1.9 CDTI Common-Rail diesel engine originates from the then cooperation with GM/Opel and Fiat/Powertrain, there was it in many models of the time from Opel and Fiat to Fiat Croma – this is a continuous engine. More important is the overall state of the car, keyword … chassis, brakes, auxiliary units such as axles and gears, tires … so much in the way. Wear will be a theme, I would be an approx. 20 years old car (which ran from 2004 to 2010, if I remember correctly) only buy with new TÜV and only from reputable possession. Apart from that, the Opels have always been quite solid at the age, 190.000 kilometres are still not so bad, and it still creates a lot of 🙂

However, light processing weaknesses should be accepted in the interior and the material selection at Opel in the 2000s was not the same for some time. The Astra is not a moaning jar and the processing is basically not bad, but it is not a car with a “high quality” interior because the materials are cheap and very scratch-sensitive. For this he has good, comfortable seats, plenty of space also at the back and a usually very extensive equipment.

Rost is not a direct problem – Opel had well protected the cars of the 2000s, the Astra-H rostet nciht more and no less than another compact of the time or the Golf V and the Ford Focus had significantly greater grate problems, Mercedes anyway.

Generally, the Astra is a good purchase if the condition is correct, maybe it is even first hand… why not. Here’s a round-off purchase advice that introduces the model in detail and is quite informative. Hope I could help you 🙂

a Opel Astra H with 190k on the clock is no more reliable car for 150 km a day, which is also 19 years old, which will be more in the workshop than on the road.
