Is it important to you where the food comes from?
the origin is always stated there.
Is that why you don't buy certain things?

I'm going on vacation with my boyfriend for three days on March 20th. We're going to Hamburg. So, what are the must-sees in Hamburg? Sightseeing and/or similar things. I'm really looking forward to your answers. Thanks in advance😊
Milk is used by all animals (as far as I know) only for raising young. Or has anyone ever seen a full-grown monkey feeding on the breast of a female orangutan? How did it come about that people consume milk after infancy?
In the main, we naturally buy regional and seasonal food when it is available and it is fruit and vegetables. Otherwise, water/beer/wine and other products (e.g.: eggs, meat, honey) from courts of the surrounding federal states.
You don’t get certain things in D.! Then we take them from other EU countries, and in some specific things we go away from each other.
We take from within and outside Europe strictly no products that are produced in countries that we do not want to support and would possibly also never leave there. Example from quite earlier times: South Africa because of apartheid then. Nowadays there are others…which is our sole thing!
And, as a general rule, there are many things in us to tune the inclination with our feet, not just when eating. Boycotts of all kinds are very common to us!
Regionality and seasonality are extremely important to me – I don’t have to have food from all over the year…
The more I can enjoy what the season is…;)
If I read the answers, every provider of e.g. Egyptian potatoes and New Zealand apples would have to go broke. But it’s not that… In the normal supermarket or even discounters, astonishingly more and more products are offered which grow here in sufficient quantity. .. and I don’t understand why you buy.🥴 . With southern fruits like bananas and oranges it is possible to understand..
Deshab gives asparagus, strawberries etc. only later in the year.
Meat and milk products I’m just buying if I know where it comes from. That makes it much more expensive, but it is important to me.
I also care about seasonality. I don’t need strawberries from Morocco in winter.
So some things.
No buffelMozzarella from Italy
Not possible from China
No olive oil ais Greece
No meat from non-Turkish meat counter etc.
For example such reasons

Why not olive oil from Greece?
I also doubt that he constantly buys buffalo mozzarella or Greek oil. I’m guessing that should only praise his flesh. I would never buy this meat
Depends on that. Recently, I bought more Belgian pears. That’s all right.
Even berry fruit, apples and asparagus are only seasonal, i.e. domestic.
I deliberately don’t buy anything from Germany as I don’t want to support this sick system, but as regional as possible, best of the small meater.
yes, I’m watching
Yeah, I’m very compulsive at that.
I respect the price, regional and seasonal you don’t get much.
no Chinese, Indian and Canadian honey.
no fruit and maize products from the usa.
no sweets from the usa.
no avocados from chile.
etc.
and no palm oil.
We are largely self-catering, we have our large farm garden, the rest we buy at our village caravan or village baker in the village.
No strawberries from Spain, no Greek asparagus, no exotic southern fruits in winter, etc.
All ecological bullshit!
Strawberries from Portugal in December need no human being in Germany.
If I prefer not only seasonal but also regional products.
Z.b. No food from Turkey

Spain, France and Italy

And China too.
but yes… there’s only one country I haven’t been buying since the 70s.
true? South Africa or israel?
Israel
with me it was many years south Africa.
Yes I don’t buy asparagus from Greece
I buy beer from a regional brewery
I don’t need overpriced glacier water
I buy eggs where I also see the chickens
I don’t care
Sure.
No, I’ll buy what I want.
Strawberries we have to eat all year round.
I recommend a docu in which it is shown how they are preserved before loading so that they can survive the transport route to Germany. Then the theme of “gance-year-old strawberries” is eaten…🤢🤮
No. I just drink a bull and smoke. The strawberries will certainly come smoothly.
Yeah, I’m very important.
It’s delicious.
