The Kadettilac is a great vintage car with lots of tuning potential. Unfortunately, Rost is a big problem.

Take a look at an outdated test drive. Then you drive to a workshop that you previously searched for ubd Contact. I want the mechanic to look over it. Also ask the papers and photograph the workshop where the car came from. Call it and ask if the Km are real.

But there will still be some rest work that are more favorable, apart from the grate.

Edit if he’s at Lohberger can buy him. Give him a thousand, and for that he shall make new tuv and toothed belts.

750 € is a fair price for a functional car but why did the dealer not make a new TÜV?

Is there any more?

I’d probably wear a car like this when I’m around the corner and I could watch it on stage.

It can easily happen that you have to put 1500€ in parts again until he gets TÜV and if there is still working time on it the workshop is happy

That’s a pretty old car that doesn’t provide security up to the seat belt.

In addition, the cadett E unfortunately has quite often strong rust problems.

You can also doubt the small kilometre stand.

The model has only a 5-digit kilometer meter and 0 therefore always at 100 000 kilometers

The advantage, however, is that these models are pretty good to repair themselves if you are handy and technically gifted.

I myself liked to drive such a car

My first own car was a 88th cadet E 😍 But when I drove the car 91, it was only 3 years old 😉

The car is offered by a dealer. Make sure that the contract also includes the dealer as a seller and not any private seller who gave the car there in the Commission. Then you would even have a guarantee, because the dealer cannot exclude it.

However, you cannot even test the car without TÜV.

at 750€ no dealer will give warranty.

I don’t know what moon some people live on but expecting 750€ warranty is just stupid.

This is laid down by law. If the dealer sells the car as ready for use (and not only as a craft vehicle or spare parts tender), he must provide warranty. He cannot exclude it as a commercial provider.

I just don’t think you’re checking it out, do you?

the law obliges the warranty on sale to private.

only MUSS the dealer does not sell to private.

the buyer must then be a trader, come from abroad or the trader sells it in the customer order.

There is no guarantee for such vehicles!!!

they simply do not sell to private.

and who thinks in such vehicles he gets full service with new TÜV and warranty and and and that is just more than stupid.

He doesn’t.

so easy.

I would really be interested in what goes around in the minds of some people who think about cars for such bad prices there is warranty 😂😂😂

I don’t know whoever does that. But if he does, he has to take the warrant.

He must. He just doesn’t sell it to people.

Gives many idiots who even expect 500€ cars warranty.

There’s nothing like that.

or new TÜV including vehicles for 300€.

the test fee is 50%.

which dealer in the world does something like that.

Vehicles with warranty usually start at €1,500-2,000.

the sale then only goes to industry, customer order or export.

Do you really think at 750€ someone gives 1 year warranty? Hahaha

best 10 years warranty!

Just like this, an old car won’t come through the TÜV without any problems.

the dealer will certainly not sell the car with warranty.

Plan more money to advance to the TÜV and ask the dealer for any repairs or what he needs with new TÜV.

  1. If the dealer is not even ready to sell the car with TÜV, he knows that there are considerable defects. (e.g. brake lines porous)
  2. The cadet is a Sch…. Karre. Extremely unclear, no accident safety, no power steering, climate, ZV etc.
  3. 1.8 L automatic? With today’s E5 Sprit, you can add 2 liters to the work specification!
  4. Make sure the box needs new tires, battery, thongs, windshield wipers, brakes, brake lines and brake fluid. There you are with about 2000 €! Otherwise, the dealer would offer the car as a TOP classic car for a significantly higher price.

I find it difficult to make a tip here.

This Opel Kadett has not covered 100,000 kilometers, but is not yesterday, the performance is good. So I’d just get such a car if I got a reference. Many people here on GF would now also advise me to look at the tires what needs to be renewed, because that comes up.

It may be a good car. We have almost the same, but Opel Vectra.

It’s so rusty at the bottom that when parking, the axle with the wheel has broken away.

And if you look at gasoline consumption, you just want to drive the most necessary routes.
