Is this carving worth anything?

Hello, I bought a house "as is." The previous owner passed away, had no heirs, and his possessions were sold by an estate agent. I purchased the house complete with all its furnishings (including personal belongings in the closets). While clearing out, I found this carving. I think what makes it special is that it was carved from a single piece of Hinz. Can anyone tell me if it's worth anything? And where's the best place to sell something like this?
