Ist die Sony Alpha 6400 gut für Sportfotografie (Fußball)?

Hallo zusammen,

Danke schon einmal!

Sabrina

Why Sony? Nikon also builds mirrorless cameras that, in my opinion, not only look more beautiful, but also lie better in the hand and are just as good.

Look at the Nikon Z50. Makes the same as ne Sony and you can also use your old lenses by adapter:

Have you ever photographed the Sony?

The operating concept is VERY different from that of a Nikon.

You can photograph everything with almost every camera, you have to adjust to the capabilities of the respective camera.

Please note that the lenses for Sony are not inexpensive.

Have you ever thought of a Nikon Z or a used Nikon D7500, with both cameras, sports recordings would be no problem.

I would like to recommend testing the various mirrorless models of Canon, Nikon and Sony. Only the photographer can decide whether the camera is well in the hand, can be operated easily and quickly and whether it “passes”.

Personally, Sony is too small, too stubborn, too much in the menu.

for good sport photos is the correct optics, i.e. light-strong objective with as long as possible focal length; every x-popular camera can combine extremely short exposure times in connection with high iso values to make usable images.

Better buy such an objective for your nikon or find a photo dealer who will let you test with a long tele. there are very good objective of other manufacturers with the appropriate connections for all common brand cameras.

It’s not exactly what to do with it, but it’s more about AF and serial image speed, and the body is important.

Hello

So the camera is suitable for sports reports, as long as you have not mounted a “Bremsklotz” like the SEL 55-210 optics, even for beginners who cannot stay before the action. Sony sells the SEL 70-350 OSS for sports reporting. It’s not the fastest telezoom, but it’s enough for sprints. Faster are FE 70-200 and FE 100-400.

The RX10 IV is even faster

Do you already have Sony lenses or an acquaintance or relative to which you can exchange lenses?

If not…. Sony lenses are VERY expensive.

Although there are also alternative objectives of, for example, Sigma, they often have no stabilizer inside.

And since the 6400 has no stabilizer, but it is not important for sports photography, I would save myself the change to the Sony, and instead I would rather get a very good lens for the money with corresponding focal lengths and light intensity for your Nikon.

Because lenses are much more important than the body.

If you want to change, I would switch to a full format of Sony.

You’re gonna go into the money.

If 1/3 are unsharp, it can be either at the autofocus (then only a change to a newer camera can help you) or at a too long closing time. So you could first try a shorter closing time (if possible with the camera lens combination without getting too dark results. If this doesn’t do anything, a camera update would really make sense. However, I must agree that 5fps series speed is a little slow.

At least you realized that the body isn’t unimportant as often claimed. Five pictures in the second are nothing. You’ll miss a lot of scenes. And if a 1/3 are unsharp, it is also at the autofocus. And the autofocus is not only the object, but also the camera body! Don’t let anything tell you.

No, because APS-C

I therefore recommend the Sony A7 III

Why exactly should APS-C have a negative impact on sports photography? The only effect is that you have more zoom range thanks to the Crop.

Sorry. In fact, APS-C in combination with the right lens should even be advantageous. However, the Crop factor “closes” the screen purely theoretically a bit, what #The pack is probably based on its statement

When I actually meant that, was probably somewhat unfavourable (wrongly informed sorry)

The crop factor has no effect on the light intensity of the objective and does not close the aperture. Only in relation to Bokeh.
