Hello

If you can’t think about this independently in a few seconds and answer it, you shouldn’t touch it. Because with anamorphous optics you have to think a lot, a lot of knowledge and a lot of work. It’s not that that comes out by mounting a morphous look “cinema” look (Cinelook). Although this is told in the advertising, and/or by buying an amorphous optics and the odds/problems or frustration factor, in some it increases the learning curve because it is then worn through until the Gordian knot is extinguished. Others do not create this, then they sell the optics at half a new price and are written off as a teaching money. Most DoP who work anamorphous have bought a set and therefore the others rent the sets to turn.

In addition, the G81 can be easily removed from DCI 2K (“cine film”) gate via HDMI Out (4.5K Full Sensor Readout) in the post, i.e. 2048×1080 and DCI4K, i.e. 4096×2160 from spherical optics for 2.35 or 2.39, that then even letterboxes on 2048×852 or 4096×1704

Basically, anamorphous optics can be used before each sensor and one stretches this in the post process, but as a result one loses resolution but anamorphous optics always lose resolution compared to spherically that was an “emergency solution” from than 50s as a cinema color film simply “bad” but 3 film strips/projection technology was simply too expensive/complex. Only with the advancement in film technology the recording formats could become smaller, and finally, from 1990 onwards, with Super 16mm cameras 35mm film was filmed and appropriately inflated. Super 16 is about the open gate format of 1″ sensors so 12,35×7,4mm that can be easily generated from mFT or for the GH2 there was a hack if you did not want the TFT line. Adapter for Super 16 C-Mount is also available. Only the used prices for Super 16 optics went from a few 100€ direction some 1000€. But rather because of the Blackmagic not because of Lumixen.

The Lumix GH types are designed with the Multi-Aspect Sensor for Anamorphic Optics as well as from the GH3 in the display for the 1.33, 1.5 and 1.66 selectable frames from GH4, the viewfinder displays in real time morph the video image there are mW also displays for 1.99 and 2.39.

In addition, simply think through which motifs with a focal length of about 40mm (80mm/KB) horizontal at a mFT gate with about 2.2 Crop at UHD yield meaningful or classic Cine cadres. The 35 makes sense when mFT is a standard optics, and I would take 28mm or 24mm at UHD. Zb the Laowa Nanomorph is available in 27mm (T2.8 by 1.5 Squezze). In the case of the nanomorph, the color of the flares can be changed from white yellow to blue. This allows you to match the optics to other manufacturers and does not need a complete set from a manufacturer
