As a data grave, it is okay, as a system plate, no. QLC NAND, i.e. significantly faster wear in many write processes, also RAM cache, which would actually appear on similarly fast data carriers when copying large data sets, e.g. during video editing or the like.

Hello,

In addition to Samsung and WD, Crucial is one of the TOP models at the SSDs, even though the P5 is out here.

SSD UserBenchmarks – 1071 Solid State Drives Compared

Here’s the market overview. The 1TB are all close to 40€ and the good close to 3500MB/s, the PCIe4.0 at 7000. This is the controller speed when reading, while writing is 450 MB/s top.

As I said, with a Crucial SSD you do nothing wrong.

Please consider if you store important data on SSDs without STrom, you can lose the data after 2-3 years. So they should be followed and checked every 2 years.

There’s an HDD in the advantage. I had stored Samsung hard drives for 20 years and could reconnect them without losing Dazten.

QLC NAND and no DRAM cache. I wouldn’t buy. Better put 3€ on it and get the 970 EVO Plus

They are very good and the price is also ok if the 1TB is enough.

If the 2TB already becomes scarce, I would recommend to take the same a bigger one. 1 TB is full faster than you think.
