Does it make sense to switch from my old, broken Samsung Galaxy A13 to the iPhone 12 mini?

My old phone (a Samsung Galaxy A13 4G) is broken, and I desperately need a new one. I've been using Android devices my whole life and only have an iPad for school, and I've noticed how useful AirDrop is. What bothered me about my old phone was its size (6.6 inches) and its poor camera, but otherwise, I actually like all of its features.

So I started looking for a new alternative, which isn't easy given my needs: I don't want to spend more than €300 (so I'd definitely be willing to buy used), I definitely want a smaller model (6.5 inches or smaller), a better camera than before, and at least 128GB of storage. I'd also ideally like a headphone jack, but that's not so common with newer models anymore.

I came across the iPhone 12 mini, which fits my size and price expectations, and iPhone cameras are generally better, too. It costs around €260 on the Back Market website.

Now I ask you: Is it worth it? Is this an improvement over before? Is the website trustworthy? What other phones are there that meet my needs?

Thank you in advance 🙂

No, that makes little sense.

I would advise you to take back a cheap Android or take some more money in your hand and buy a pixel 7. The parts also get many years of updates and so it is worth it

You want a little phone. Well, it’ll be thinner. Asus Zenfone might.

So iPhone is more expensive than other devices when considering the price performance and the devices are completely different to use than Android. In addition, they are technically far worse

If I would advise you to a refurbished iPhone

if you think there are good new equipment from about 70 euros, you need to ask why you should buy an old used equipment for the price you mentioned.

Walk into the electric market and look around. I have a 200 Euro device and I am fully satisfied.
