This is not a sentence, but at best a note.

German is not, but a literal translation from English. In German one understands what is meant, but it is bad style, because we do not make/produce/do not make friends in the factory.

  • I have new Contacts linked. (very general, can also be business)
  • I have new Friendship Closed. (personal + multiple)
  • e.g.: I have friendship with a classmate/commiliton/college at work/boys from my sports club.
  • I found a new friend. 🤗(I would write or say that.)

You can say that. The child turns out to be a new friend. You can make a hampelman who will later become the new friend.

Actually, if real beings are meant, in the normal case, you don’t talk like that.

But if one admits poetic freedom, he can say that.

It’s not a sentence, it’s a puncture.
