This depends on your own interest and the season. Bathing for a family holiday is the Mediterranean ideal. The Adriatic has beautiful sandy beaches and warm water.

If it is more sporty when swimming, then the waves on the North Sea, as well as on the Antlantic Coast are better and offer more opportunities.

For a cultural holiday, the region around the Mediterranean offers a great deal. Because there were the high cultures of antiquity and accordingly versatile and important are the architectural remains

During the flowering of the Hanse, the Baltic Sea was the center of trade. Major Hanseatic cities are located there and also these are worthwhile for sightseeing tours.

If I take my round trips through Europe, then preferably in spring and autumn, it is not too hot and not too cold. I always travel as far as possible to regions that I have not seen personally before.

There is so much to see and discover.

Everyone has different preferences.

The Scandinavian countries are becoming increasingly popular due to the increasing (summer) seats in the middle part of Europe, which are unpleasant for many people.

In general, however, southern Europe still cuts better. Of course, costs also play a role. Scandinavia is very expensive compared.

Neither, there are beautiful corners everywhere, in the south it is mostly warmer in the north for it is much greener. 15°C in Norway, by the way, feel like 20°C with us.
